Mini Aquaculture Park (TMA)

Among the objectives of the Mini Aquaculture Park (TMA) is to develop tourism infrastructure centred on educational recreation within the aquaculture fisheries sector, to establish an eco-tourism centre that provides education on environmental sustainability, and to give exposure to aquaculture operators, visitors, and tourists.

Cage Fish Farming Project

Produced 62 metric tonnes of hybrid grouper from 2021 to 2025, valued at approximately RM1.9 million, and serves as a local information centre for marine cage fish farming.

Marine Fish Fry Nursery Project (SENTS)

A project that nurtures hybrid grouper fry up to a size of 4 inches using the first system of its kind in Sabah, the Sabah Efficient Nursery Tank System (SENTS). Activities under this project include the following:-

Fish Fry Harvesting

Boat services are provided from the jetty to the balat hub (round trip).
